OnePlus teams up with DxO for improved camera on OnePlus 5, prototype image surfaces

OnePlus has announced that it is partnering with DxO, a photography benchmark to “enhance” the camera on the OnePlus 5. The company said with this partnership it is planning to “take things to the next level” for its upcoming flagship.

Unfortunately, OnePlus has not shared much details about the DxO collaboration. Meanwhile, a new report about the dual rear camera setup on the OnePlus 5 has surfaced that corroborates previous rumors. The prototype photo of the phone highlights the dual rear camera setup. As per the photo, the phone looks like OnePlus 3T except for a single camera this one has vertical dual camera setup. We can only see the back of the phone and it has the same metal unibody design with antenna bands on top and bottom. Also seen is the OnePlus logo and LED flash.

As per earlier rumors, OnePlus 5 will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 8GB RAM, 64GB internal storage while expandable memory is up to 128 GB. The phone is tipped to run Android 7.1 Nougat. It could have a bigger 3600 mAh battery and a Dash Charge 2.0 support.
