Fossil launches Q Marshal and Q Wander Android Wear smartwatches, Q Motion fitness tracker and more


Fossil has introduced a range of digital and analog smartwatches along with a new activity tracker. The company has unveiled Q Marshal and Q Wander Android Wear smartwatches, Q Motion activity and sleep tracker and Q Tailor and Q Nate Smart Analog Movement watches.

The Q Marshal and Q Wander smartwatches are powered by Android Wear. They sport 44mm or 46mm circular cases and come with a variety of body styles and strap options. The watches feature always-on displays so it lets you access all the important information like time, calls and alerts all the time. Thanks to Google Now integration, the smartwatches will offer information about your flights and timely reminders in form of Google Now cards. Q Wander and Q Marshal can be personalized with customizable watch face designs, including exclusive Fossil dials, and interchangeable straps.

Both the watches are capable of wireless charging and are compatible with Android devices and iPhones. Q Wander features a soft curving, multi-finish case and sports a more feminine design while the Q Marshal has a rugged case and comes with a navy blue plated case paired with vintage-inspired leather straps.

Fossil Q-motion

Moving on, the Q Motion is an affordable activity and sleep tracker that sends you call notifications, texts and activity as it comes with haptic vibrations and multi-color LED lights. In addition to tracking your sleep and activity, Q Motion features smart tap technology which lets you play music, finds your phone or helps you take selfie with simple taps.The activity tracker that looks like a cylindrical bracelet comes with coin cell batteries that are claimed to last for up to six months. Moving on, the Q Motion is water resistant for up to 50 meters and features interchangeable straps.

Fossil New-Q Nate

Finally, Fossil has also introduced Q Tailor and Q Nate Smart Analog Movement watches that will alert you about incoming calls as well as notifications from your contacts with just the turn of the watch hands. They will also track steps, calories, sleep and offer automatic time zone updates, a second time zone (seen in the sub-eye on the analog dial), and connect to an Android smartphone or iPhone device via Bluetooth.

The Q Marshal and Q Wander Android Wear smartwatches are priced at $275 and will be available later this year. The Q Motion activity and sleep tracker is priced at $95 and will be available this summer. Finally, the Q Tailor and Q Nate Smart Analog Movement watches will also come later this year and there is no word on the pricing. Fossil has announced its plan to launch 100 smart wearable devices this year and the company is partnering with a number of brands including Chaps, Diesel, Emporio Armani, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Misfit, and Skagen for the same.
