Nice varun! Where did you confirm the price?

  • richu

Wow! That is low price value for money…:)

  • Naveen

Sounds like a very good deal.

  • angad

well like all i also think its a good deal when the Milestone is 27500RS minimum
m waiting for htc desire and iphone 4.0 os i would have got the desire of ebay UK or USA but then i want be in warranty as INDIA is not under HTC’s glabal warranty now how bad is that…. n the worse part this info was given to me through email be a INDIAN working in HTC….. sad but true…..
i still love the phone though….

if i was given an option btw legend and milestone or u can say as sense ui vs normal android sense ui i will go with milestone coz i feel its sexier and bigger(3.7″) n a keyboard + i like the name DROID….

    • http://www.fonearena.com Varun Krish

Personally I too like the Droid for the QWERTY keyboard. But HTC Sense UI is amazing compared to stock UI on Milestone.

      • angad

        I completly agree with u varun n i m also a complete fan of sense ui n
that is y i postponed my milestone to wait for desire…. But as any iphone lover/ fan will agree that simple ui is sometimes
better….. As u may have seen sense ui is full of features but then
again ask u ask yur self do i really need all this …. N ya leap view
is fun but if we can live without it….. I some times feel that sense
ui is good in the short run but in the long run it may be to much to
        handle…..
but if i had to recommend a smartphone it would still be Iphone as its still simplest of all n has a app for everything as most of indians are used to nokia interface so the whole android and sense ui can be to much…….

    Desire
    Standard battery, Li-Ion 1400 mAh
    Stand-by Up to 340 h (2G) / Up to 360 h (3G)
    Talk time Up to 6 h 40 min (2G) / Up to 6 h 30 min (3G)
    Legend
    Standard battery, Li-Ion 1300 mAh
    Stand-by Up to 440 h (2G) / Up to 560 h (3G)
    Talk time Up to 7 h (2G) / Up to 6 h 10 min (3G)

Legend seems so much better for battery life. Given the Legend price of 24.5k, and UK prices of 400 and 450 GBP, expect Desire to be priced around 27.5k; that now is a tough price to beat and puts Desire head on with Moto Milestone and kills SE X10.

Any idea where this is available in Bangalore?

  • pringles

htc incredible – Isn’t that just Desire with a higher res camera? I dont personally care about cameras. And is there a gsm version. Thought the US version is just CDMA.

    • angad

well i also heard that htc incredible also has some 3d graphics chip in it for better game playing and 8MP camera so it kinda make it better than desire…..

I am using a HTC phone at its working fine. But I only doubt about the warranty support & service of HTC

I looked out for HTC Legend
    3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100
    HSDPA 850 / 1900 – American version

What does this means, is it having, all Bandwidth, or the one you buy from India will have 900/2100 and the one bought in US is having 850/1900? Cause I’m planning for US soon and will be flying through and fro between India and US.

    Any suggestions.
