ZTE announces its Smarthome device at MWC Shanghai

ZTE has just announced its Smarthome device alongside the Blade D6 smartphone today during MWC Shanghai. The ZTE Smarthome is a device that allows customers to easily communicate between their smartphones/tablets with their home appliances or fixtures.

Customers can communicate using Wireless protocol, ZigBee as well as 4G LTE. There are a wide range of appliances or fixtures that can be controlled using the technology such as lights, baby monitors etc. Basically anything ranging from health to security to home management.

There is an application that will allow users to interact with these devices using their smartphone or tablet. CEO of ZTE Mobile Division Mr Adam Zheng said:

“The smart home revolution is fast upon us, and our strong track record in R&D has allowed us to deliver an innovative product to support this emerging trend.”

The ZTE Smarthome device can be seen in the first photo and it measures 195mmx150mmx55mm and the rest of the specifications are as follows:
