After announcing Flipkart First, its priority subscription service last month, the online retailer has finally launched the service today. It costs Rs. 500 for 12 months from the date of subscription and comes with a range of benefits including free shipping, discounted same day delivery, priority customer service and more.

At the announcement Flipkart announced that the service would include 60 day replacement guarantee, but it has not been listed now. So you just get standard replacement benefits, similar to other customers. It is not clear if Flipkart plans to introduce this in future since it mentions that subscribers would get access to additional benefits soon. Flipkart First benefits are currently available only on purchases from seller WS Retail.
This yearly subscription can be cancelled anytime during the term, and the refund amount would be offered depending on the period of subscription already completed. Flipkart recently secured $210 million in funding from DST Global and others.
