Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker brings new enterprise marketing and workflow capabilities to ChatGPT as Adobe expands its partnership with OpenAI. The updates bring customer experience workflows into ChatGPT and connect AI agents with Adobe Workfront for enterprise workflows.

The Coworker brings business context from Adobe applications into ChatGPT and maintains that context across different stages of a customer experience workflow.

CX Enterprise Coworker in ChatGPT

Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker is grounded in business context from the Adobe applications that enterprise teams already use. It maintains that context across sessions and workflow stages, covering:

  • Audience curation
  • Journey design
  • Asset creation
  • Offer decisioning
  • Activation across channels

The Coworker also operates within defined policy boundaries and can execute multi-system workflows while retaining human touchpoints required by enterprise approval processes.

Adobe said the existing CX Enterprise Coworker has helped compress campaign timelines that previously took weeks into days, and the ChatGPT interface extends these workflows to the environment millions of teams already use for research, planning, and cross-functional work.

For journey intelligence, marketers can ask questions about conversion changes, live journey performance, or conflicts between active programs. The Coworker can then move from the identified insight to an action, including creating ready-to-activate segments in a single conversation using data from Adobe Experience Platform.

For example, Adobe gives this request:

Which of our active journeys has the highest drop-off in the first 24 hours?

The Coworker identifies the journey and the specific step where the drop-off occurs, while also flagging audience overlap that may be contributing to the fall-off.

Marketers can similarly create audience segments through natural-language requests. For example:

Build a segment of high-intent B2B prospects in financial services who haven’t engaged in 30 days, excluding anyone in an active nurture journey.

The Coworker builds the segment, provides an estimate, and saves it so it is ready for activation.

The same workflow extends to the content supply chain, connecting asset discovery with planning and execution in a single conversation. Marketers can search Adobe Experience Manager assets using natural language, confirm brand and compliance alignment, and then create Workfront projects using specific project requirements.

These Workfront projects can include:

  • Templates
  • Priorities
  • Budgets
  • Multi-stage approval workflows

For asset discovery, Adobe gives the example:

Find approved Q4 campaign assets for the financial services vertical in English and Spanish.

The Coworker returns governed, brand-compliant assets that are ready to use.

It can also handle broader campaign planning. For example:

Create a Spring campaign workspace, set it high-priority with a $200K budget, sequence the tasks, and route the creative for copy, design, and legal approval — then show me anything still unassigned this week.

The Coworker creates the workspace, configures the project, sets the approval chain, and flags tasks that remain unassigned.

Adobe Workfront also supports AI Collaborators, allowing enterprise teams to assign AI agents directly to tasks. These workflows can cover areas such as asset quality checks, copywriting, and localization. For example, an AI agent can review assets for brand and legal compliance, draft copy based on a brief, or adapt content for individual markets.

Once an AI agent completes its assigned work, the output can be routed back into Workfront for human review and final approval. AI Collaborators can also connect with virtually any type of agent, allowing teams to incorporate different agent-based workflows into Workfront.

Adobe said its customer experience operations deliver more than one trillion experiences each year for enterprise customers.
