boAt has introduced its first smart audio devices featuring boAt CREST AI, an AI-powered platform built with Google Gemini. The company is also introducing a new proposition for personal audio called ‘Intelligent Ears’, bringing CREST AI to its compatible audio devices.
CREST AI brings AI capabilities to earbuds, allowing users to interact with AI without reaching for a phone, opening an app or looking at a screen. The platform includes Crest Ask, G-Assist and Crest Translate.
boAt CREST AI Features
The three capabilities cover AI conversations, voice-based productivity and real-time translation:
- Crest Ask: Lets users ask questions, explore ideas, learn and have natural conversations with AI through their earbuds. Users can also ask follow-up questions and continue conversations without repeatedly reaching for their phones or typing queries.
- G-Assist: Connects with Google Gmail, Tasks and Calendar to provide productivity and communication capabilities through voice. Users can ask the assistant to “summarize my day” or “reply to an email,” while also managing tasks, schedules and their digital routines without reaching for their phones.
- Crest Translate: Supports real-time, two-way translation across 25+ languages, allowing people who speak different languages to communicate through their earbuds.
Together, these capabilities allow the earbuds to understand context, support conversations and assist users through their day.
boAt Airdopes Prime 800D
The boAt Airdopes Prime 800D combines CREST AI with Dolby Audio and 11mm dynamic drivers tuned to boAt Signature Sound. The earbuds also offer:
- Up to 45 hours of total playback
- Multipoint Connectivity
- Four microphones
- AI-ENx technology
CREST AI is also available on the boAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC and boAt Nirvana Ion ANC. More CREST AI-powered products are expected as boAt expands voice-driven experiences across its next generation of devices.
boAt and Google Cloud
The launch marks the next phase of boAt’s collaboration with Google Cloud, taking CREST AI from a technology platform to products consumers can use in their everyday lives. The company said this builds on its move beyond traditional audio hardware towards intelligent, conversational devices.
These devices combine sound, connectivity and AI around how consumers listen, communicate, work and interact. As CREST AI evolves, boAt sees the platform becoming an intelligence layer across its growing portfolio of devices, with increasingly contextual and hands-free experiences.

The boAt Airdopes Prime 800D with CREST AI is priced at Rs. 1,999 and is available in Raven Black and Royal Blue. It can be purchased from Amazon.in and the company’s official website.
