OPPO has started rolling out its August ColorOS 16 update with AI Remix Collage, security improvements, Home Screen changes, Currency Converter widgets and Notes enhancements. The update also includes changes to Phone Manager, Storage Cleanup and hidden app access.
AI Remix Collage
AI Remix Collage lets users turn photos into personalised sticker sets, mood boards and collages using Smart Cutout, customisable outline styles and layer controls. These options allow users to create collages beyond the original frame.
Security and Phone Manager
Phone Manager can detect and block suspicious app activity, including malicious pop-ups, abnormal power consumption and unusual device-control attempts. Users receive real-time alerts when such activity is stopped. The update also allows users to customise frequently used Phone Manager tools.
Home Screen and Currency Converter
A two-finger pinch-out gesture on the Home Screen can now clear all app notification badges at once without clearing the notifications individually. ColorOS 16 also adds 2×2 and 4×2 Currency Converter widgets with real-time exchange rates on the Home Screen. The widgets can be used for checking currency rates while travelling, shopping internationally or managing expenses.
Notes and other improvements
Users can now draw, highlight and annotate directly on images within Notes. The update also includes a reorganised Storage Cleanup page with clearer categories and provides access to hidden apps through floating windows.

The August 2026 ColorOS 16 update is rolling out from August 1 through August 31 for the following devices:
