Lenovo Vibe X vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Hands On

Lenovo announced the Vibe X, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at the IFA 2013, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the latest smartphone in the Galaxy S series that was launchedearlier this year. The Lenovo Vibe X is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor, while the global variant of the Galaxy S4 is powered by a 1.9 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 Processor. Let’s check out the hands on comparison of both these devices.

Both the phones have a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display at 441ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Lenovo Vibe X has a normal LCD panel along with a , while the Galaxy S4 has a Super AMOLED display. Both these have a 13-megapxiel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash with 1080p Full HD video recording, but lacks OIS. The Galaxy S4 has a 2-megpixel front-facing camera, while the Vibe X comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Vibe X has a polycarbonate body which is just 6.9mm thick and weighs just 121 grams. The Galaxy S4 is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 130 grams.

Both the phones have 2GB of RAM and come in 16GB and 32GB variant along with a micro SD card slot to expand the memory. The Galaxy S4 also comes in 64GB variant in addition to these. The Vibe X packs a 2000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S4 comes with large 2600 mAh Battery.

The Lenovo Vibe X would be available in China starting in October and would roll out in range of  countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold, starting from December. It would not be available in Europe including Germany. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is already available in hundreds of countries worldwide. We will bring you more hands on videos and comparisons from the IFA.
