Qualcomm today introduced its flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Series 2nm Mobile Platform that promises up to 13% improvements in CPU, 44% GPU performance improvements, and 35% faster NPU.
It also confirmed that several OEMs including Xiaomi, vivo / iQOO, REDMI, Red Magic, OPPO, OnePlus, motorola will use the chip.
Xiaomi
Xiaomi will be the first company to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Series in its Xiaomi 18 Pro series smartphones that will be introduced in China later today.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
HONOR
HONOR will be the second company to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 SoC in its HONOR Magic9 Pro Max smartphone that will be introduced on September 28th.
motorola
motorola signature 27 that will be introduced later this year will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC.
OnePlus
OnePlus 16 will be among the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, with the new generation “Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel” exclusively integrated into the chip’s underlying structure. Regarding this the company said:

OnePlus will reveal more details at the OnePlus Game Conference in China on September 28th.
vivo / iQOO
iQOO 16 and iQOO Pad Ultra will be among the first devices to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, said the company. The devices will be introduced in China on September 29th. Moving forward, more vivo products will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 the company added.
Based on recent reports the vivo X500 Ultra powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC is expected in March or April 2027.
RedMagic
RedMagic 12Pro+, the company’s next flagship smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, will be introduced in October.
