KRAFTON India has released the BGMI 4.6 update, introducing a lineup of seasonal content that includes new thematic game modes, localized characters, festive in-game events, and updated creator tools.
Moreover, the patch focuses on providing alternate gameplay mechanics and expanding region-specific assets for the Indian player base.
Thematic Game Modes: Midnight Hunters and Ocean Odyssey
The core addition to the 4.6 update is Midnight Hunters, a supernatural-themed mode active on Erangel from September 16 to November 16.
- Map Alterations: Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry, and Gatka have been converted into Vampire Takeover points, while Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base host the Nightkeeper’s Hunter Guild, an indoor combat arena with guild missions, scream crates, a clock tower, and an updated shooting range.
- Core Mechanics: Additionally, the Bloodline Awakening lets up to 20 eliminated players return as Vampires. Vampires receive specialized abilities, including Claw Strike, Absorb, Blood Sense, and Blood Amberfication.
- Themed Equipment: Players have access to traversal and combat items such as the Silvermoon Chain, Twilight Bat Wings for flight and detection, Scarlet Tonic for health recovery, and the Blood Pact link for squad synchronization.
Moreover, the update reintroduces Ocean Odyssey alongside Midnight Hunters on September 30. The returning mode restores underwater points of interest to Erangel, including the Ocean Palace, the Trident weapon, and encounters with the Kraken.
Localized and Festive Content: Kiaraa and Diwali Prize Path
Following earlier localized releases, KRAFTON India’s internal art team developed Kiaraa, an original character debuting on October 8.
- Indian Bazaar Point of Interest: Kiaraa’s introduction features a Diwali-themed market on Erangel. Activating four peacock-shaped lamps triggers a cooperative Boss Battle against Kiaraa.
- The Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection: Associated rewards include the Divine Peacock Glider, Divine Radiance SCAR-L, Divine Chariot Buggy, Arrow Rain Emote, and Divine Edge Machete.
- Diwali Prize Path: Running from October 22 to November 15, the game will host a dedicated 20-level progression path. Unlockable rewards include the Revel 01 Set, Diwali Gold Set, and licensed virtual variants of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Bullet 350.
Collaborations and Creator Additions
The update integrates several brand and content creator tie-ins:
- Global IPs: A One Punch Man Mini Royale Pass and spin arrive September 21. Automotive content includes the Lincoln Motor Cruize (September 16–November 9), featuring the Lincoln Model L and Navigator Black Label. A B.DUCK minigame introduces collision-based platform combat until September 30.
- Creator Content: Gaming creator Techno Gamerz receives a dedicated voice pack and the Sunken Templar set starting October 20. A separate Legendary Voice Pack Crate featuring Shreeman Legend, Snax, and iPreet releases on October 28.
- World of Wonder (WOW) Upgrades: The custom-mode framework receives higher platform limits, enhanced mobile editing controls, and debugging tools. The update also adds a Halloween-themed Steal Brainrot mode, a Ghost Ship event, and the Brainrot Wand item.
