Meta has introduced Meta One, a new subscription service across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI, with plans for individuals, creators, and businesses.
Meta One subscription service
Meta said the plans are being rolled out gradually, with more than 50 features launched so far and 15 million subscriptions and trials recorded to date. The core experience across its apps and Meta AI will remain free, while paid plans provide access to additional features and expanded AI usage.
Individual and AI subscription plans
Meta One initially includes individual subscription plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. The company has also introduced Core and Premium bundles that combine these individual features with increased access to AI capabilities.
The individual plans include:
- Instagram Plus: Custom fonts for DMs and Stories, notifications when certain people view a Story, and DM previews.
- Facebook Plus: Messenger customization options, more Reels insights, and expanded super reactions for Reels and Feed posts.
- WhatsApp Plus: Exclusive themes and icons, special effect stickers, and the ability to pin more chats. Meta will also test storage for chat and media backups and Focus Schedules, which can mute or hide chats according to a schedule.
Meta said these individual plans are seeing strong retention and continue to grow.
The Core and Premium bundles add more usage of AI capabilities that require higher computing resources. These include generating and editing images with Meta AI, creating videos powered by Muse models, and using in-app AI tools such as Restyle on Instagram more often.
Meta AI will continue to be available for everyday use without a subscription. In early testing, Meta said more than half of subscribers to the bundled plans used both AI and expression features. It also said AI features such as Restyle and voice effects on Instagram were among the top reasons people subscribed.
Creator and business subscription plans
Meta One also includes plans for creators and businesses, bringing professional tools and AI features into the apps they already use. These plans do not require users to create a new account or download another app.
The available features include an enhanced profile that can showcase a website, locations, and what people say about the account. Meta is also adding a bold follow button on Reels and automatic follow invitations for people who engage with content.
More access to Meta Business Agent is included as well, allowing businesses to respond to customers 24/7 on WhatsApp. Meta said it will continue adding features and agent skills covering marketing, business operations, content creation, and optimization.
The creator and business plans include different levels of access:
- Essential: Profile management tools, more access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp, a verified badge, a verified channel in the WhatsApp Business app, and impersonation protection, subject to successful verification.
- Advanced: Story scheduling up to 30 days in advance, links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, deeper audience insights, team member access without sharing a password, more linked devices, business broadcast credits on WhatsApp, and additional Meta Business Agent responses.
- Expert and Max: The highest levels of feature access and Meta Business Agent capacity for teams managing operations at scale.
Meta will also bring Edits Plus to Meta One. The plan will offer additional cloud storage for syncing and accessing projects across devices, along with more usage of the upcoming Edits assistant. The assistant can analyze Instagram insights and help brainstorm new ideas.
Pricing and availability
Meta One plans are now available globally, although the plans, benefits, pricing, and availability can vary by region, app, and account. Users can start the subscription process to see which features are available for their account.

Meta said it will expand Meta One to additional products and experiences, including Edits and AI glasses, over time.
