HUAWEI has introduced the Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design, the latest addition to its ultra-premium lineup, featuring an updated tri-folding architecture, new silicon, and hardware-level privacy protection, as it had announced.
The device employs a G-shaped hinge system with a wing-like aesthetic that measures 12.3 mm when folded and thins to 3.5 mm fully opened. The form factor accommodates flexible single-, dual-, or triple-screen configurations, allowing users to physically angle panels for privacy or task management.
It is rated for IP58/IP59 dust and water resistance. Structural reinforcement includes an outer screen made of basalt glass—rated for 30 times greater drop resistance and 16 times greater scratch resistance—alongside an impact-resistant, multi-layered inner screen.

- Connectivity & Security: The Balong baseband supports Tiantong satellite calls, Beidou messaging, 5A terrestrial speeds, post-quantum cryptographic security, and dual chip-level hardware protection.
- Health: The device integrates ECG analysis certified as a Class II medical device by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
