Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 Top 100 teams announced

Samsung India has officially announced the Top 100 teams selected for the fifth edition of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, the company’s flagship youth innovation programme. The initiative aims to empower young minds aged 14 to 22 to build technology-driven solutions for real-world social and environmental challenges.

The shortlisted teams were selected from thousands of applications across the country, covering domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), healthcare, education, accessibility, sports, and environmental sustainability.

Marking 30 years of Samsung’s presence in India, this year’s edition is the largest to date, aligning with broader national visions such as Digital India and Viksit Bharat.

Innovation Spans Beyond Metros

Over half of the shortlisted teams hail from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, highlighting the decentralization of youth entrepreneurship and tech innovation in India.

Program Roadmap: From Ideas to Incubation

The shortlisted participants will undergo structured mentorship and evaluation rounds to refine their prototypes.

1.Top 100 Mentorship Phase:FITT-IIT Delhi Guidance.

Teams receive initial mentoring from startup founders, industry experts, and academic mentors from the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi. Each team member receives an official certificate of achievement.

2.Top 40 Innovation Bootcamp:Site Visits & Seed Funding.

The Top 40 teams advance to a 10-day intensive bootcamp at FITT-IIT Delhi. Participants get exposure visits to Samsung R&D Institutes (Delhi, Bangalore, Noida), Samsung Design Delhi, and the Gurugram Head Office.

  • Support: INR 8 lakh combined grant + Samsung laptops for all team members.

3.Top 20 Prototype Enhancement:Grand Finale Preparation.

The Top 20 teams prepare advanced prototypes for the Grand Finale presentation before a jury of industry leaders and Samsung R&D executives.

  • Support: INR 20 lakh combined grant + Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphones for all team members.

4.Grand Finale & Grants:Final Incubation.

Four winning teams receive a combined INR 2 crore grant alongside incubation support from FITT-IIT Delhi to commercialize their products.

  • Additional Recognition: Two Community Choice Awards (INR 2 lakh total) and one Digital Impact Award (INR 50,000).

Global Footprint

First launched in the United States in 2010, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow has expanded to 68 countries, engaging over three million young participants worldwide under Samsung’s global CSR vision, “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People.”
