POCO has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming smartphone, the POCO M8 Power 5G, in India in the M8 series after the launch of the M8s 5G. The promotional poster highlights battery longevity and media consumption as the core focus areas for the M8 Power 5G, positioning the device under the tagline “Power Your Binge.”
Key Confirmed Features
- Battery Capacity: The device is equipped with a massive 8,000mAh battery, which POCO claims can provide up to 3 days of power on a single charge.
- Display: It features an immersive AMOLED display, marketed to deliver vibrant colors and a cinematic viewing experience for content consumers.
- Design & Rear Module: The teaser reveals an orange textured back panel featuring a rounded rectangular camera island. The camera layout houses a 50MP primary sensor with AI camera features, paired with an LED flash.
It is said to pack a 7″ FHD+ 120Hz panel and be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC.
With its August 4 launch date locked in, POCO is expected to release further details in the coming days. As usual, the phone will be available from Flipkart after the launch.
