Dell has announced the availability of the Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51 with OLED display and Alienware 18 Area-51 gaming laptops in India. First unveiled globally at CES 2026, the new Alienware lineup features redesigned thermal architecture and display technologies.
Alienware 16X Aurora
The Alienware 16X Aurora is powered by Intel Core Ultra Plus processors and supports up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. It features a 16-inch OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time, up to 120% DCI-P3 color volume, HDR True Black 500 certification and 620 nits HDR peak luminance.
The laptop features an anti-glare OLED panel that reduces glare and reflections by 32% while minimizing fingerprint smudges. For thermal management, it uses a Cryo-Chamber cooling architecture that directs airflow to improve heat management during extended gaming sessions.
The Alienware 16X Aurora includes Stealth Mode, which can be activated with a single press of the F7 key to reduce fan noise and switch the keyboard backlight to white for non-gaming activities. It comes in an Interstellar Indigo colour option with a satin finish and iridescent Alienware badge.

Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51
The Alienware Area-51 series includes the Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51 models. Both laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 290HX Plus processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, with configurations available up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
The Alienware 16 Area-51 supports up to 240W Total Performance Power (TPP), while the Alienware 18 Area-51 supports up to 280W TPP. The Alienware 16 Area-51 features an anti-glare OLED panel with a 16-inch WQXGA display, 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time. The Alienware 18 Area-51 comes with an 18-inch QHD+ WQXGA display with up to a 300Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.
