HUAWEI has introduced the HUAWEI MatePad Air (2026) model for the global markets as the successor to last year’s model. It gets a 12″ 2.8K 144Hz OLED PaperMatte display with a 4.6 mm ultra-narrow bezel and HDR peak brightness of up to 1200 nits, a major upgrade from an LCD screen in the predecessor.
It is powered by a new Kirin T93C processor. It retains 6 speakers and a 50MP rear camera but comes with an upgraded 12MP front camera. The tablet is now slimmer at just 5.3mm. It retains the 10100mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging.

The HUAWEI MatePad Air (2026) comes in light blue, cherry blossom pink, and pure white colors and is priced at 849 Euros (USD 976 / Rs. 93,065 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB standard version with a keyboard.
The 8GB + 256GB PaperMatte Edition costs 899 Euros (USD 1024 / Rs. 98,550 approx.) with a keyboard or an M-Pencil Pro. The 12GB + 256GB variant costs 999 Euros (USD 1138 / Rs. 1,09,510 approx.) with a keyboard. Pre-orders begin today in Europe and the tablet will be shipping starting August 1.
