HONOR WIN Turbo with 6.79″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8500 Racing Edition, 10000mAh battery announced

HONOR has introduced its latest smartphone, the HONOR WIN Turbo, at a dedicated launch event in China, after the HONOR WIN and WIN RT were introduced last year. It is aimed at combining high endurance with robust hardware durability.

The device is available in three distinct color variants designated as “Fast Gameplay,” “Win by Choice,” and “Blue Fearless.”

Display and Build Specifications

The front of the Honor WIN Turbo is equipped with a 6.79-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat screen. The display panel is engineered to support an ultra-high peak brightness of 8,000 nits alongside a 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) dimming system, which the company categorizes as “zero-risk” for reduced eye strain during extended use.

For environmental and physical durability, the smartphone features triple certification for dust and water resistance, meeting the standards for IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. This ensures the chassis is protected against deep submersion as well as high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.

Internal Performance and Storage Options

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Racing Edition processor, a chipset tailored for sustained performance and gaming efficiency. To support intensive multitasking, the configuration options scale up to 16GB of RAM paired with up to 512GB of onboard storage.

Battery Life and Charging Architecture

A core highlight of the Honor WIN Turbo is its power subsystem. It integrates a 10,000mAh “Qinghai Lake” silicon-carbon anode battery, offering an exceptionally high capacity for a mainstream smartphone design.

To manage power delivery efficiently, the handset supports:

  • Wired Fast Charging: Up to 80W to replenish the high-capacity cell quickly.
  • Reverse Wired Charging: Up to 27W, allowing the smartphone to function as a portable power bank for other electronics.
