boAt has announced the launch of the country’s first smartwatch lineup featuring direct USB Type-C charging support. The new range comprises two models: the Storm Call 4 and the Ultima Vogue 2.
By incorporating a universal Type-C port directly into the wearables, the company aims to eliminate the need for proprietary magnetic charging docks.
This transition allows users to charge their smartwatches using the same cables typically utilized for smartphones, laptops, tablets, and power banks, aligning with the broader consumer electronics trend toward standardized charging solutions.
