Samsung has announced the launch of its Certified Re-Newed programme in India, aimed at expanding access to premium Galaxy smartphones through a company-backed refurbished device offering.
Certified Re-Newed programme
The programme includes refurbished flagship and mid-range Galaxy smartphones at reduced prices while maintaining Samsung’s standards for reliability, security, performance, value, and user experience. It offers:
- Samsung-certified refurbished Galaxy smartphones
- Flagship and mid-range Galaxy device options
- Focus on sustainable product lifecycles and long-term usability
Samsung said devices under the programme undergo an in-house refurbishment process that includes detailed inspection, functional testing, software validation, factory reset for complete data removal, and latest software updates.
The company also restores devices using genuine Samsung replacement parts, packages them in new retail boxes, and backs them with a one-year manufacturer warranty similar to new Galaxy smartphones.

The company said every Certified Re-Newed smartphone includes accessories usually provided with a new device, including a charging cable, ejector pin, and user manual.
