OnePlus has announced additional details regarding the hardware and software specifications for the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE6. The company already confirmed that the smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on May 7 at 12:00 PM IST, alongside the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite, which marks the return of the “Lite” tier to the current lineup.
The OnePlus Nord CE6 will be available in three color options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black.
Hardware and Performance
The Nord CE6 is powered by the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 4 mobile platform. The device utilizes a dual-chip design that includes a dedicated Touch Reflex chip, supporting an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3200Hz.
Key hardware specifications include:
- Battery: 8000mAh capacity
- Charging: 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging
- Display: 1.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate
- Audio: Dual stereo speakers with up to 300% volume output
- Durability: MIL-STD-810H certification and multiple ingress protection ratings (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K)
Camera Specifications
The imaging system on the Nord CE6 is designed for everyday photography and video recording, with both the front and rear cameras supporting 4K Ultra HD video capture.
- Rear Camera: Features a 50MP primary sensor equipped with dual-axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to improve photo sharpness and video stability.
- Front Camera: Features a 32MP sensor with autofocus and a wide field of view, optimized for group photography and clear facial focus.
Software and AI Integrations
The device will ship with OxygenOS 16, which incorporates a variety of new software features and artificial intelligence tools natively into the operating system.

- Google Integrations: Native support for Gemini Live and Circle to Search.

Availability
Official pricing, availability, and launch offers for both devices will be confirmed during the May 7 event. The concurrent launch of the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite succeeds the previous Nord CE4 Lite model, which was recorded as the highest-selling Android smartphone by value and volume in the ₹15,000–₹20,000 price segment during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival in late 2024.
