Lenovo has introduced its latest Legion Tab (8.8″, 5) for the global markets at the MWC 2026 as the successor to last year’s model. This retains the 8.8″ 3K LCD screen but has a 165Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, replacing the 8 Gen 3 SoC in the predecessor.
This gets up to 16GB of 10667Mbps LPDDR5T RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 Pro storage. There is the updated Legion Coldfront Vapor cooling system with up to a 32% increase in heat dissipation efficiency compared to the previous generation Legion Tab.
There are Lenovo AI Engine+ software solutions that leverage AI to enhance audio—boosting critical in-game sounds—as well as AI-powered noise cancellation for clearer voice chats when deep in the fray. Lenovo AI Engine+ also enhances touch sensitivity based on AI scene analysis. It has a pair of USB-C ports that support simultaneous charging and peripherals.
