After teasers, Samsung has confirmed the launch of Galaxy F70e, the company’s next smartphone in the Galaxy F series in India, on February 9th.
Samsung already confirmed that the phone will prioritize imaging capabilities, positioning the camera at the center of the user experience. Today the company confirmed that the phone will come with a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP front camera.
The phone will feature a 120Hz screen with up to 800 nits peak brightness, and this should be an LCD screen. The image shows a notch. 6000 mAh battery, a leather-like finish for the back, lime green and spotlight blue colours, IP54 ratings for dust and splash resistance have also been confirmed.
The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which promises a 623K AnTuTu benchmark score. The phone will run Android 16-based OneUI 8 out of the box and will get 6 generations of OS updates and 6 years of security updates. It will feature 12 5G bands, and come with voice focus, Knox Vault, and more features.
Samsung already confirmed that the phone will be priced under Rs. 15,000. It will be sold on the Samsung India online store and Flipkart after the launch. We should get the exact price when it launches next week.
