Nothing today launched the Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition, the company’s latest co-creation project involving four emerging creators who shaped the device’s design, software, and marketing. Here we have the unboxing and photo gallery of the phone.

There is no change in the design of the phone compared to the Nothing Phone (3a) with three glyph lights, but this comes in blue colour.
The design is inspired from aesthetics of late 90s and early 2000s technology, when things looked starkly different to what we see in the market today. It’s a bold, new and nostalgic colour exploration that looks like a game toy from the past, while staying true to Nothing Phone (3a)’s futuristic identity.
The glass back has a smooth matte finish which offers a better grip compared to the glossy finish in the standard version. It also doesn’t attract fingerprints.
You can see pink, yellow, red and green colours on the phone.
The power button on the right has a metallic finish and the essential button below it is in pink colour. The volume rockers on the left are in black.
This has a custom clock face comprising multiple font weights. The design reduces visual clutter and guides the eye intuitively to the key components, said the company.
It also aligns with Nothing’s ethos and intentional aesthetics, meaning users stop instantly forgetting the numbers they just checked.
The device also comes with an exclusive wallpaper as a visual bridge between the rear colour and texture to the front interface. There are four versions – two blue and two purple, referencing alternate colour explorations and playful hidden ‘easter eggs’.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition is priced at Rs. 28,999 and there are only 1,000 units made to be available globally. The device will be available in India on 13th December 2025 exclusively at a special drop event in Bengaluru at 33&Brew, Brookefield from 2PM–6PM IST.
