iQOO has confirmed the launch of iQOO 15 flagships smartphone in India in November, soon after the launch of the phone in China which is scheduled for next week, October 20th. This was confirmed by Nipun Marya, CEO of the iQOO business in India.
iQOO already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, making it one of the first phones with the chip in the country. It will be the first iQOO phone to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box, after it was introduced for the global markets yesterday.
iQOO China already confirmed that the phone will pack a 6.85″ 2K + 144Hz Samsung flat screen with M14 luminescent material, 508 PPI, Dolby Vision, instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3200Hz, and has Q3 chip for 2K resolution and 144FPS gaming.
Based on earlier reports, the phone will pack a 50MP 1/1.5″ IMX9 series main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP IMX8 series 3x periscope telephoto camera with up to 100x zoom. It is expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, enclosed symmetrical dual speakers, a 091640 X-axis motor and a 7000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging as well as wireless charging.
