Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro in China, introduced at the same event as the Xiaomi 17 series smartphones.
Both feature an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light. The Soft Light Edition uses AG nano-texture + AR coating to reduce reflectivity by 70%, and both have a full-metal unibody, 5.75mm thickness, 485g weight.
The Pad 8 runs on Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the Pad 8 Pro uses Snapdragon 8 Elite, supporting smooth gaming, PC-grade workloads, large spreadsheets, and high-res video tasks. Both pack a 9200mAh battery; the Pad 8 supports 45W charging and up to 9.3 hours video playback, and the Pad 8 Pro offers 67W fast charging with up to 10.5 hours video playback.
For cameras, the Pad 8 has a 13MP rear + 8MP front camera, and the Pad 8 Pro comes with a 50MP rear + 32MP front camera; both include 4-microphone arrays and support AI features like real-time transcription, voiceprint extraction, and 29-language simultaneous interpretation. Audio includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, while the Pad 8 Pro adds Harman AudioEFX tuning.
Xiaomi HyperOS 3
Both run Xiaomi HyperOS 3, with an adaptive interface, dynamic widgets, AI wallpapers, split-screen multitasking, 9-grid workstation layout, PC-level apps (WPS, CAJViewer, ZWCAD), wireless secondary screen support, Apple cross-platform file transfer, and the Super Xiao Ai assistant.
The tablets also offer a desktop-style browser with multi-window support, tabbed interface, PIP playback, drag-and-drop, and extension compatibility.

The Focus Touch Pen Pro features a 17.5g balanced weight, ultra-low latency, gesture controls (squeeze, double-tap, vertical slide), hover preview, realistic brush flow, and haptic feedback, supporting third-party drawing and editing apps.
