Samsung has launched the Galaxy F17 5G smartphone in India, as the successor to last year’s F16 5G. It still has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display with a notch, is powered by Exynos 1330 SoC replacing the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC in the predecessor.
It retains the 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro camera and a 13MP front camera. The phone runs Android 15 with One UI 7 on top, and will get 6 OS updates and 6 years of security updates. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The phone has become slightly thinner and lighter compared to the A16 5G, and the camera design is new, which are the major changes.

The Samsung Galaxy F17 5G comes in Violet Pop and Neo Black colours and is priced starting at Rs 14,499 for 4GB + 128GB model and the 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 15,999.
The phone will be available across retail stores, Samsung.com and Flipkart starting today.
