Samsung Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F speakers with Waveguide technology, 360° Party Lights+ system announced

Samsung Electronics America announced the Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F at IFA 2025, designed to deliver powerful audio and synchronized LED lighting for indoor and outdoor use. Both models feature a portable, geometric design with IPX4 water resistance.

The ST50F includes a telescopic handle with wheels for easy movement, while the ST40F has a built-in handle for convenient transport. The ST50F comes with 6.5″ dual woofers and 1″ dual dome tweeters, and the ST40F is equipped with 5.25″ dual woofers and 3/4″ dual dome tweeters.

Equipped with Waveguide technology, the speakers deliver even audio from the tweeters. The dual woofers support Deep, Punchy, and Gentle bass, and four sound modes — Standard, Wide, Stadium, and Outdoor — tailor the audio to different spaces.

On a single charge, the ST50F supports 18 hours of use, and the ST40F runs up to 12 hours. Both models support Stereo Play with TWS and Auracast™ Group Play for synchronized multi-speaker playback. The Party Lights+ system creates 360° LED effects across five zones, synced with music.

The speaker provides five moods and six patterns — Wave, Trail, Spark, Breeze, Flow, and Flare — for personalized lighting effects. Additional features include a built-in DJ Booth, Karaoke modes, and a guitar input, all controlled via the Samsung Sound Tower App.

The Samsung Sound Tower will be available this month via Samsung.com and select retailers:

  • ST50F: USD 699.99 (Rs. 61,620 approx.)
  • ST40F: USD 499.99 (Rs. 44,010 approx.)
