AppleCare One subscription plan for multi-device coverage launched

Apple has announced AppleCare One, a new monthly protection plan that allows users to insure multiple Apple devices under a single, streamlined subscription.

AppleCare One: All-in-One Protection

AppleCare One combines the full benefits of AppleCare+, including unlimited repairs for physical damage such as accidental drops or liquid exposure, 24/7 access to Apple’s technical support team, battery replacement services, and certified repair coverage. With AppleCare One, protection against theft and loss is available for iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.

Key Benefits
  • Multi-Device Inclusion: Instead of separate AppleCare+ plans, users can protect multiple devices—such as an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch—under a single plan. The fixed monthly fee applies regardless of which devices are covered, enabling potential savings of up to $11 per month compared to managing individual AppleCare+ subscriptions.

  • Older Devices Eligible: Devices already owned by the customer can also be added to AppleCare One—so long as they are in good condition and not older than four years. This goes beyond the standard AppleCare+ enrolment period, which is typically limited to the first 60 days after purchase.

  • Simplified Management: Customers can update their plan dynamically—adding or removing products as needed. When a covered item is traded in via Apple, the system automatically unregisters the old device and replaces it with the new one. The plan remains active on a rolling monthly basis for ongoing flexibility.

Pricing and Availability

AppleCare One becomes available in the U.S. beginning July 24, with enrollment options through Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) or by visiting an Apple Store.

  • Base Subscription: $19.99 (Rs. 1,725 approx.) per month covers three devices.
  • Additional Devices: Each extra device costs $5.99 (Rs. 515 approx.) monthly.
