Redmi Watch 2 with 1.6-inch AMOLED screen to be announced on October 28; Price surfaces

Last week Redmi confirmed that it will introduce the Redmi Watch 2, successor to the first Redmi Watch in China on October 28th along with the Redmi Note 11 Pro series. jd.com app reveals that the smartwatch will be priced at 399 yuan (US$ 62.5 / Rs. 4,686 approx.).

The company has confirmed that it will feature a 1.6-inch AMOLED curved screen with narrow bezel, and a larger screen-to-body ratio compared to 1.4-inch LCD screen in the predecessor. The image shows a single button on the right side, matte finish on the casing and a sports strap. Redmi added that the watch will be upgraded in terms of screen, sports, health, appearance, experience, and charging compared to the predecessor.

The product page reveals that the smartwatch will come in three colors – elegant black, space blue, and ivory white, and the teaser image that you can see above shows straps in different colours.

We should know more details, including the sale date, when the Redmi Watch 2 goes official later this week.
