Sony has scheduled a new Xperia product announcement on October 26th. The company doesn’t give any hints of what to expect. The company usually introduces Xperia 1 series in the first part of the year, and the Xperia 5 series in the latter part of the year, but the company introduced both the Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III back in April this year.
The company did not introduce the Sony Xperia PRO this year, so we can expect a new Xperia PRO II at the event. This could feature similar specifications as the Xperia 1 III, but with an HDMI port and mmWave + 5G Sub-6 support. There are also rumours of a foldable phone based on old patents, but it could be anything.
The Sony Xperia product launch event on October 26th starts at 12:00 JST / October 25th 23:00 EDT (8:30 AM IST). We should know the complete details when the device(s?) go official in a couple of weeks.
