Xiaomi introduced the Mi Beard Trimmer last week in the country, a product made in India for India. The Mi Beard Trimmer has a quad edge design, features ultra-precise self-sharpening stainless steel blades, and comes with 40 length settings. It is waterproof with IPX7 rating and can withstand submersion in water for up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. We recently bought a unit and here is the unboxing and photo gallery of Mi Beard Trimmer.
Similar to other Xiaomi accessories, Mi Beard Trimmer comes in an orange box showing product name, product image, and specifications on the front.
The back of the box includes all the product information, price, dimensions, bar code, and box contents.
Opening the box, you get another box and a user manual.

The Mi Beard Trimmer has a matte finish providing a better grip, it is easy to hold and handle, thanks to its ergonomic design. The sturdy grip allows you to reach tough spots effortlessly.
It features rounded stainless steel blades to ensure a skin-friendly performance, the blades are ultra-precise and self-sharpening. It can go up to 6000 oscillations per minutes to deliver accurate cuts and shape.
The 30 mm wide blade is removable, making it easy for the user to clean or wash the blade properly and replace, if needed, as of now we don’t know if Xiaomi will make replacement blades available in the future.
It comes with 2 beard combs that can go between 0.5 mm and 20 mm. Mi Beard Trimmer supports 40 length settings, the length can be adjusted by using the rotatable dial on the front. The combs can be replaced only when the length is maximum. Mi branding can be found on the back side of the trimmer.
Three LED lights can be found on the front, which indicate the battery status and it can be used for 90 minutes on a single charge.
The Mi Beard Trimmer comes with a proprietary charging cable with USB-A port at the other end, the cable can be plugged into any USB charger, it is rated for 3W and supports 5V-2A chargers as well.
It also features travel lock functionality to ensure that it doesn’t get turned on accidentally while traveling. User can press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on travel lock, after which it won’t get turned on with a single press. Travel lock needs to be turned off manually by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds.
The Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer is washable as it has IPX7 waterproof rating, it can withstand submersion in water for up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is priced at Rs. 1199 and is available for order from mi.com, Amazon.in and Mi Home Stores.
