OnePlus 5 benchmark listings reveal 8GB and 6GB RAM versions, 1080p display and more

OnePlus 5 will go official in less than two weeks. The company already confirmed that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform. Amazon India confirmed 8GB RAM for the smartphone. Now Geekbench listing has confirmed 8GB of RAM for the smartphone and it will run Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

It scored 6575 points in Geekbench, almost same as other Snapdragon 835-powered smartphones.

Yesterday OnePlus released a teaser confirming dual rear cameras for the smartphone, AnTuTu listing from earlier this week says that one of the rear cameras will have 16-megapixel sensor, but the resolution of the other camera is not known yet. It also reveals that it will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the OnePlus 3T.

The AnTuTu listing also confirms 1080p display for the smartphone and 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version, so the 8GB RAM version will likely come with a 128GB storage. OnePlus will also probably not include a microSD card slot, just like its earlier smartphones.

OnePlus 5 will be launched in India on June 22nd at 2PM, two days after the global online unveiling on June 20th. It will go on sale  on the launch day itself from 4:30PM exclusively on Amazon.in.
