Samsung Galaxy S7 edge update brings camera improvements and bug fixes

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has received a new update in India that brings improvements to camera, latest Android security patch for June and also fixes several bugs in the smartphone. The update was rolled out for the Galaxy S7 smartphone recently. Check out the complete changelog below.

This update includes improvements to functions, new functions, and bug fixes as listed below.

  • Camera improvements
    • An issue where initial video playback flickers after recoding has been resolved.
    • An issue where previews of specific routes are shown in red or green has been resolved.
  • Other bug fixes
    • An occasional cover recognition issue has been resolved.
    • An intermittent issue where the camera couldn’t be used when opened from the lock screen on devices with the S view cover attached has been resolved
    • An issue where recorded videos were not shown in Quick view after recording was stopped has been resolved
  • The latest Android security patch has been applied.
    • Device security has been further enhanced

The update (G935FXXU1APEQ) for the S7 edge is 73MB in size.
