Elephone to introduce a new business M series of smartphones

Elephone, the Chinese company is one of the newest smartphone manufacturers in the market. There’s a P series of devices that are currently sold by the firm and if you are wondering what the P stands for – it’s for ‘premium’.


We have already managed to get our hands on the Elephone P8000, the flagship smartphone from the company and you can check our coverage to know more about the device.

Elephone is now scaling up and is also expanding its offerings. The company is planning to release a new business M series of smartphones. The new portfolio of products is expected to launch by the end of September.

The business M series of devices will carry a metallic design and will sport an elegant texture. With the new series of devices, Elephone is trying to offer high-quality products at affordable price.


Elephone M1 will be the first smartphone under the new series and the device will sport a 5.5-inch display. Furthermore, we know that the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek 64-bit quad-core MT6735A processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The M1 will feature a 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front facing sensor and a fingerprint sensor.

The company is expected to include a Type-C USB port, but there’s no confirmation at this point in time. Elephone M1 will run Android 5.1 Lollipop. There’s no word on the pricing just yet, but we will know more about it when the smartphone goes official.
