Lenovo A7000 expected to launch in India at April 7th event

Lenovo just sent out invites for the a launch event on April 7th in India. The invite just shows Dolby Atoms Theater with text Save the Date, 7 April 2015. It is expected to launch the A7000 smartphone at the event, since it is the only smartphone to feature Dolby Atmos audio.

The Lenovo A7000 was unveiled at the MWC 2015 earlier this month, packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor, Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 4G support, including support for LTE bands in India.

The Lenovo A7000 comes in Onyx Black, Laser Yellow and Pearl White colors. At the announcement Lenovo said that the smartphone will be priced starting at $169, so the smartphone could be priced around Rs. 10,000 in India.
