The SmartBand Talk SWR30 also tracks your fitness activities along with taking calls. It will track your movement via gyroscope, altimeter and accelerometer and measure your physical activity such as walking, running or climbing. In addition, it measures your steps, calories and sleep cycle, too. It will further save the data also for your records. The wearable is powered by ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit processor, 2MB of memory, and IP68 waterproofing.

The low-power, e-paper display on the SmartBand Talk lets you view the time at a glance, as well as notifications and Lifelog activity. It weighs 12 grams for module and 24 grams with wrist band. This wearable is compatible with any device running Android 4.4 and above through and supports NFC and Bluetooth.

There are two buttons on the slim and lightweight SmartBand Talk. One is the volume rocker for controlling the speaker during a phone call, and another for toggling through different displays like the weather and turning it on or off. Toggling can also be done via tapping the device or flicking your wrist.

Sony also plans to open the API for third parties to integrate services, which could make it a good deal more useful.

The Sony SmartBand Talk comes in Black and White colors with wrist bands in Black, white, red, blue, pink and lime colors. It would go on sale globally from this Autumn.
