Rumors about the Google Smartwatch started few months back, but the existence of Google Smartwatch became strong when Android Chief Sundar Pichai recently announced Google would release Android SDK for wearables later this month.

@evleaks has revealed the specifications of the LG-made Google smartwatch. It would reportedly sport a 1.65-inch (280 x 280 pixels) IPS display with 240 ppi pixel density, bit larger than the 1.63-inch Super AMOLED screen on the Samsung Gear running Tizen OS.

The Samsung Gear has a resolution of 320 by 320 pixels with a pixel density of 277 pixels. The Google Smartwatch would have 512 MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, similar to the Gear. According to earlier rumors, it would support Bluetooth 4.0 LE.

Samsung Gear only works with select Samsung smartphones running on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and above, but the Google Smarwatch is expected to work with most Android devices running Android 4.3 or later. We still don’t have the important details such as processor and battery life yet.

Last month @evleaks revealed that the Google Smartwatch would be introduced at Google I/O on June 25th and 26th. Google would announce the complete schedule later this month.
