Jet Airways is the first Indian Airline to integrate Google Now

Google Now is Google’s idea of a personal assistant and it is very useful in countries like USA and Canada where all your travel data sync with Google. In India, all you could was weather updates and updates about your favorite football team. But it looks like things are about to change pretty soon. Jet Airways, one of the leading airline companies in India, has announced that it is integrating its flight booking details with Google Now.

Google-Now-Update

According to the announcement, users who book their flight details on Jet Airways website or through the mobile app will be providing their gmail ID which will provide contextual information for the user on their smartphone. Jet Airways has announced that with this integration, users will benefit from the fact that they will get relevant and contextual information right on their smartphone.

Any details regarding the plane will be updated on the smartphone. Users will be able to view travel information in Google Now several hours before their flight departure. Information includes updates on their flight schedule, and the airport terminal for their flight. This information is automatically updated in Google Now. If the flight is delayed or the status changes, the latest information will be reflected in the Google Now card via Google Search.
