HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.2.2 update (v3.11.401.1) for the International variant of the One SV starting from Croatia and other European countries. This bring Sense 5, BlinkFeed , Quick settings and lots more features. Complete changelog of the update is not available yet. Even though the phone did not launch in India, it is a good thing that HTC is bringing the Android 4.2 update for devices powered by a dual-core processor.
The HTC One X and the One X+ got the Android 4.2 update in India back in September. It is not clear which would be next HTC device to get the Android 4.2 with Sense 5 update since the company doesn’t list the devices that are eligible for the update. HTC confirmed back in July that the HTC One S would not get the Android 4.2 or Sense 5 update since they could not provide the best video and audio experience, which was a disappointing news for the users.
The official Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One SV is available as an OTA update and the size is 431.05 MB. You can go to Settings > About > Software Updates > Check now to check for the updates, if you have not received the update notification yet.
