WhatsApp is silently testing the Group Voice and Video calls for iOS going by the code spotted in the latest beta version for the iPhone app. While the references confirming the group voice calls are multiple, there is one instance that mentions the group video calls for the platform.

WhatsApp has been actively pushing out features, and recently it rolled out Live Location Sharing for Android and iOS. However, as of now, it is unclear as to when WhatsApp would push the Group Voice and Video call feature, but it should be worth a wait. Moving into the details, WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp v2.17.70 beta update for iPhone has multiple hidden references to the group calls.

It is heard that WhatsApp will soon roll out an update which gives the group admin more powers like removing more number of participants from a group at once. In another news, WhatsApp v2.17.387 beta for Android brings new administrator features for groups which include the ability to choose whether the participant can modify the subject of the group, its icon, and its description. It also has an option to prevent other admins from removing the group creator from the group.
