Asus seems to have more variants of the Zenfone 2 than it is possible to count with our fingers. They have just announced a special edition of the already Limited Edition Zenfone 2 Deluxe.

The smartphone has a quad-core Intel Z3590 chipset that is clocked in at 2.5GHz. There is 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM as well as 256GB of on-board storage. If that too doesn’t suffice your needs, you can expand it further using the microSD card slot.

The rest of the speicifcations of the special edition device remains the same. At the back, you have a 13 Megapixel Pixelmaster camera and at the front is a 5 Megapixel camera. The display is a 5.5″ 1080p unit with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 3000 mAH non-removable battery under the hood.

it will be available in two colour variants – A silver polygon that has the same 3D pattern at the back as the regular Zenfone 2 Deluxe and a Carbon Night which has a flat back cover but with a carbon fiber finish. Both the device’s will also have red accents at the sides as well as the rear volume button rocker and will come with an exclusive red and black ZenUI theme.
