Oppo R7s to be announced on October 18


Oppo is all set to announce a new device that will be successor of the R7 this month. The Chinese smartphone maker has scheduled an event in Dubai on October 18th where it will announce the Oppo R7s.

The Oppo R7s was certified at TENAA last month and sports a 5.5-inch FullHD AMOLED display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 615 SoC with 1.5GHz CPU and comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Other specs include a 13MP rear with flash and 8MP front camera. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 and has a 4,100 mAh battery. As per the TENAA listing the phone measures 151.8 x 75.4 x 6.7mm and weighs 200g. In addition to the R7s, Oppo will also showcase the R7 Plus, R7 Lite, Mirror 5 at the event.

Oppo R7 and R7 Plus were announced in May this year while the Oppo R7 Lite and R7 Plus were launched in India last month. We recently reviewed the Oppo R7 plus.
