Dell Announced Its First Android Based Handset Aero


Dell recently announced that it will soon launch its first Android based handset, Dell Aero on the airwaves of AT&T. This handset run on Android 1.6 operating system. This device was first unveiled at CES 2010 in January and it was earlier known as Dell 3. The complete specs of this device is not available yet.

Dell Aero comes with a new and beautiful customized user interface developed by Dell and AT&T. This device has a 3.5 inches touchscreen display with 640 x 360 or 800 x 480 pixels resolution, 3G connectivity, 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 16 or 32 GB expandable memory and Wi-Fi connectivity.

This device comes with a strong social networking integration which allows you to directly upload your pics and videos to Flickr, Facebook, Picassa, YouTube and TwitPic. It also includes Flash Lite so that you can stream audio and video contents on the go.

The price and release date of this handset is not available yet. More information on this device is expected to be available during CTIA 2010.
