Oppo teases swiveling camera on N3 in press render

Oppo has released a press image of its upcoming N3 smartphone that is scheduled for an official launch on October 29 in Singapore. The teased image shows N3’s swiveling camera that enables users to take front and back photos.

Oppo N3 press render

The swivel rotating camera on the Oppo N3 that will rotate 180 degrees was already leaked last month. The first official render does not show the front-end of the smartphone, neither the entire back panel and only focuses on the swiveling camera. Along with the camera, we can also see the dual flash setup.

A previous leak had suggested that the phone will have a unibody design that will be made of lithium alloy body thereby making the phone light in weight. In addition, Oppo had confirmed that the N3 will be available in two body constructions– lithium alloy and stainless steel. The press render also boasts of a caption that reads “Its your turn” again suggesting the rotating camera.

Last week, leaked press shots had shown the Oppo N3 in cyan and pink color. According to earlier leaks and reports, the Oppo N3 would come with a 5.9-inch 1080p display and a 13-megapixel 206-degree rotating camera on the top, similar to the OPPO N1. The camera would let you capture images up to 24-megapixels. It is expected to be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 805 SoC, compared to the Snapdragon 600 chip in last year’s N1 smartphone, pack  3GB RAM and support for VOOC charging.
