on January 26, 2010 – 3:28 pm12 Comments

HTC HD3 is the successor of powerful HTC HD2, manufactured by HTC Corporation. The leaked specs of HTC HD3 is already all over the web. These are the rumored specs and there is no truth in reality.

This device comes with Windows Mobile 7 and it is expected to release at the end of this year, so it make some sense as Windows Mobile 7 is also expected to be available at the same time. This handset also comes with 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm processor and this may not be wrong as we already know that Qualcomm has recently announced 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor.

HTC HD2 has 4.3 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution while HTC HD3 is rumored to come with 4.5 inches touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution. Other notable features are 8 mega-pixel camera with Xenon flash, 1GB RAM, 1GB ROM, HD video recording, 1800 mAH battery nd so on.

The previous version had 5 mega-pixel camera, 448MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, VGA video recording, 1230mAH battery and so on. If this specs comes out to be true, then it will be definitely one of the most powerful mobile phone. There is no official word from the manufacturers regarding the specs of HTC HD3. Till then we’ll have to wait and watch. Please let us know your views in the comments

These are concept phones. Expected specs from techno freaks. Htc usually launches its phones in nov. You can be sure nothing more will be launched on 6.5 platform. Windows mobile 7 may not be out till oct. Go ahead with hd 2 its a great phone.

  • Tarun

Hey See the processor is not measured in GB it is measured in GHz. It must be 1.5 GHz not 1.5GB

  • sharath

It would be wonderfull if i have a divice like that, I decided to buy HD2 but decide to buy this one, I hope it comes in the market soon

Yeah, this just looks like some guy’s wet dream; except he forgot that processors come in Ghz, not GB. LOL

These rumors are waaay too early for release.

If these specs are really true then this would be the best video recording phone with 1080p

    • farook

It may not have full hd recording. I would guess it would be 720p. Thats still very good for a cell phone. Htc is not really known for its camera and video recording. Its more of a pda phone. Wait till nov and all the specs would be out. From what I know it would be having a dual boot , android 2.2 and windows 7. The hardware needs has an predictable upgraded as well. Amoled screen would be one feature to look forward to and a challenge to htc. Samsung is no longer suppling them the screens. They had to turn to sony for their Super lcds.

Lets wait and watch. Both the phones htc hd3 and the successor
of htc diamond 2 named htc obsession would be great buy in its price range. As mentioned before htc is just not for multimedia.
We may not want to expect much from it on that front.

      cheers
