Nike+ Move app for the iPhone 5S released, uses the M7 co-processor to track your activities accurately

Apple introduced the Nike+ Move at the September 10 iPhone 5S event, and Nike detailed the app along with the Nike+ FuelBand SE in October. The app was supposed to go live on November 6th, but it is already live. The app measures when, where and how you move and shows the NikeFuel based on your activities. You can later compare your movement with your friends or other Nike+ Move users around you.

Since the app uses the M7 co-processor that is only present in the iPhone 5S, it only works on the device. The M7 co-processor can detect motion using a trio of sensors – Accelerometer, Compass and Gyroscope, and Apple has already released the APIs for the developers. Hope we can expect more apps from the developers that makes use of the M7 co-processor. Nike has also updated the Nike+ FuelBand app for the iPhone to version 2.0 that brings a lot of new features.
