realme has reaffirmed its long-term operational commitment to India, unveiling its strategic roadmap for 2027. The company’s priorities center on refined product development, sustained brand investment, and the continued expansion of its mainline retail business.
The plans were shared during a recent meeting with the company’s India Super Agents, led by Chase Xu, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at realme. The session focused on strategies to increase consumer preference and foster sustainable growth across the brand’s distribution and retail channels.
Product Roadmap: Focus on Number and C Series
India continues to represent a core pillar within realme’s global operations. For 2027, the company aims to integrate targeted product development with broader retail execution:
- Number Series: Positioned as the central focus of the mainline portfolio. Upgrades will be directed toward performance benchmarks, mobile gaming capabilities, imaging, artificial intelligence integration, and overall day-to-day responsiveness. Product planning will be guided directly by regional consumer research, local testing, and user feedback.
- C Series: Maintained as the primary offering for the mass market, targeting buyers prioritizing battery longevity, hardware reliability, and stable performance.
Marketing and Retail Integration
To support its device portfolio, realme plans to shift from brief launch-centric promotions toward sustained, lifecycle-long marketing.
Key consumer engagement initiatives will include:
- Expanded campus outreach programs and student initiatives.
- Targeted engagement within mobile gaming communities.
- Collaborative campaigns with digital creators.
- Interactive, hands-on experiential zones in physical retail outlets.
The strategy also mandates closer coordination between realme’s central marketing and on-ground retail divisions, designed to ensure that digital and national brand campaigns directly translate into foot traffic and in-store engagement.
Channel Ecosystem and Partner Collaboration
The company’s distributor and retail network was highlighted as a foundational element of its long-term presence in the Indian market. Discussions with distribution partners addressed the need for predictable product roadmaps, better inventory and launch visibility, and collaborative local execution. Additionally, partner profitability and operational stability were emphasized as key priorities to sustain mutual business growth moving forward.
Chase Xu, Vice President and CMO, realme said:
India is central to realme’s future, and we are committed to building our business here for the long term. That commitment means continuing to invest in products, supporting them throughout their life cycles and working closely with the Indian partners who bring realme to consumers every day. For 2027, our priorities are clear: stronger hero products, sustained brand investment and better coordination across our marketing and retail teams. We want consumers to experience the progress in our products and our partners to have greater confidence in the opportunities ahead.
