OPPO Find X10 Series global launch set for October 21

OPPO has formally announced that its next-generation flagship smartphone lineup, the OPPO Find X10 Series, will make its global debut on October 21 at an event in Mallorca, Spain, after the China launch last month.

The upcoming series highlights major advancements in mobile optics, custom processing, and battery capacity, led by the Find X10 and the higher-tier Find X10 Pro Max.

Design and Build

The Find X10 Series introduces a refined version of OPPO’s minimalist aesthetic, labeled the Borderless Design. Both handsets utilize a single-piece sculpted glass back panel designed to flow directly into the rear camera housing, reducing the hard edges of the camera bump to create a continuous surface.

For the Find X10 Pro Max in Luna White, OPPO incorporated styling cues reminiscent of vintage analog cameras. The main camera module features finely knurled edges paired with Hasselblad’s signature matte orange accent ring. Adjacent to it sits the LUMO Camera Island in a contrasting matte silver metallic finish, housing the auxiliary True Color Camera and a dual-flash array. The back panel combines smooth matte glass with a subtle, fabric-inspired patterned finish.

Color options across the lineup include:

  • Find X10: Glacier Blue, Glow Coral, and Mist Grey
  • Find X10 Pro Max: Titanium Grey and Luna White
Camera Systems and Imaging Architecture

Imaging hardware serves as the primary focal point of the release. Developed in collaboration with Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad under the “Hasselblad True-to-Life Camera” branding, both devices feature high-resolution sensor arrays:

  • Find X10: Equipped with a dual 200MP camera system.
  • Find X10 Pro Max: Features an industry-first triple 200MP configuration, utilizing 200MP sensors across the ultra-wide, wide (main), and telephoto lenses.

Driving the optical hardware is OPPO’s new LUMO True Image Engine, an updated computational photography pipeline designed to optimize color fidelity and texture reproduction. Paired with data gathered from the dedicated True Color Camera, the system works alongside Hasselblad Master Mode algorithms to produce balanced contrast and accurate skin tones.

On the video side, both the dual cameras on the standard model and all three rear lenses on the Pro Max support 4K video capture at up to 120 frames per second, as well as 8K recording at 30 frames per second. The series also introduces Open Gate Capture, a recording mode that reads out the full aspect ratio of the sensor. This provides creators with extra frame margin to crop and export footage in both vertical and horizontal formats in post-production without re-shooting.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the series relies on flagship silicon from MediaTek:

  • The standard Find X10 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M.
  • The Find X10 Pro Max runs on the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, aiming for higher processing throughput and enhanced thermal efficiency.

Both smartphones house an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. According to OPPO, the high-density cell is rated for up to two days of standard operation per charge, and testing indicates the battery can maintain over 80% of its original capacity across five years of regular use.

Software

The devices will debut with ColorOS 17, which introduces the updated Living Flow visual interface alongside system-level artificial intelligence tools. Among these additions is AI Mind Pilot featuring Agent Mode, designed to let on-device AI interact directly with local media and documents to process multi-step user prompts.

Full technical specifications, regional configurations, and retail pricing will be disclosed during the official presentation on October 21.
