itel A300C 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant launched

itel has expanded its budget smartphone portfolio in India with the introduction of a 3GB RAM variant of the itel A300C. The device enters the market as an entry-level option centered on high battery capacity and hardware durability for budget-conscious consumers.

Battery and Charging

The defining hardware feature of the itel A300C is its 6,000mAh battery, designed to support multi-day usage under typical operating conditions. To minimize recharge times for a cell of this size, the handset supports 18W fast charging via a standard USB Type-C port.

Display and Core Hardware

Up front, the phone carries a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, intended to provide smoother UI transitions and scrolling.

Under the hood, the A300C is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7100 chipset. The new variant pairs 3GB of physical RAM—supplemented by virtual RAM expansion capabilities—with Android 16 Go Edition, an operating system optimized for entry-level hardware handling common applications such as messaging, digital payments, video playback, and web browsing.

Build Quality and Physical Durability

To address concerns regarding accidental damage, the device is certified under MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards, offering resistance against moderate drops, vibrations, and daily wear. Additionally, itel includes a 100-day free screen replacement warranty from the date of purchase. Biometric authentication is managed via a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and software-based face unlock.

Cameras, Audio, and Utility Features

For basic imaging and communications, the smartphone includes:

  • Rear Camera: 8MP primary sensor
  • Front Camera: 5MP front-facing sensor for video calling and selfies
  • Audio: Single speaker system tuned with DTS audio processing

On the connectivity and utility front, the A300C incorporates an integrated Infrared (IR) transmitter, enabling the device to function as a universal remote for compatible home appliances. It also features USB OTG support and itel’s proprietary “UltraLink Free Call” feature to aid communication in challenging network conditions.
